Honey Roast Roots

5-6 Potatoes / 2-3 Carrots / 2-3 Parsnips / Cumin Seeds / Oil / Honey / Salt / Bulb of Garlic

HEAT oven to 200C

PLACE large pan of water on to boil

PEEL the shit out of the veg (2)

CHOP larger potatoes into chunks

SLICE carrots and parsnips into quarters

ADD salt to boiling water

THROW potatoes in for 10 mins

ADD carrots and parsnips with potatoes for a further 5 mins

BASH garlic bulb to release cloves

DRAIN carrots, parsnips add potatoes

TIP par boiled veg into pan

SHAKE pan with lid on to rough up veg (3)

POUR bashed veg into roasting dish (3)

DRIZZLE over oil liberally

SPRINKLE with salt and cumin seeds

THROW in garlic cloves

ROAST in oven for 40 mins

REMOVE after 40 mins 

POUR honey over roasted veg (4)

RETURN to oven for 5 mins

REMOVE and serve with dinner
